These have been a hit with everyone and the best part is how simple they are! Great to make ahead and freeze individually. When needed simply thaw and broil until cheese bubbles. Serve piping hot. My family enjoys snack foods for Christmas Eve dinner. These are always high on the request list.

Ingredients
- 1 pound backfin crabmeat
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon seasoning salt
- 5 - english muffins
- 1 stick butter
- 1 jar kraft old english cheese (5 ounce jar)
How To Make crab bites

Step 1Gently mix crab, garlic and seasoning salt

Step 2Melt butter and cheese--combine with crabmeat. Mix lightly.

Step 3Spread the mixture on English muffin halves. Put them on a cookie sheet and freeze until solid.

Step 4Wrap each muffin in clear plastic wrap and keep frozen until ready for use.

Step 5Remove from freezer, thaw & broil until cheese bubbles. Serve piping hot.
