Ingredients

  • 1/4 pound (1 stick) room temperature butter
  • 1 package (6 pack) english muffins (store brands works better than thomas's
  • 8 ounces cheese wiz (can use hot cheese wiz for extra zip)
  • 1-2 - scallions - finely chopped
  • - bay seasoning (to taste)
  • - garlic powder (to taste)
  • - onion powder (to taste)
  • 8 ounces crab (refrigerator section - claw works) can use canned but only 6 ounces in can
  • - paprika (to taste)

How To Make crab appetizers

  • Step 1
    Whip all ingredients together (except crab)
  • Step 2
    Gently incorporate crab
  • Step 3
    Spread on top of split English muffins, sprinkle w/paprika (can freeze at this point).
  • Step 4
    Bake on cookie sheet 20-25 minutes at 350.
  • Step 5
    Cut into quarters - Bake for another 3 minutes.
