This is easy to make, relatively inexpensive, and a crowd pleaser. Great appetizer for all ages to make and eat.

Ingredients For cheesy hot crab & red pepper spread

1 1/2 ckkraft shredded mozzarella cheese, divided

1- 8oz pkgphiladelphia, cream cheese, softened

1/2 tspgarlic powder
-
1/2 tspitalian seasoning
-
1 mdred pepper, finely chopped
-
1 mdonion, finely chopped, (purple or white, cooks choice)

1-6oz cancanned crabmeat,drained & flaked or fresh if avalible
-
1 boxoriginal wheat thins
-
1 1/8 boxtriscuit crackers
How To Make cheesy hot crab & red pepper spread

1Pre-heat oven to 375 Degrees. Remove 1/2 cup of the mozzarella cheese; cover and refrigerate until ready to use. Mix all remaining ingredients, {except crackers} until well blended. Spread into 9-inch pie plate.

2Bake 20 minutes or until crab mixture is heated through and top is lightly browned. Sprinkle with reserved 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley, if desired. Serve hot with the crackers.
