This recipe came out of the Big Sky cookbook.Oyster lovers will stand in line for these.

Ingredients

  • - lemon butter:
  • 4 cloves - garlic
  • 1/2cup - butter
  • 1/4cup - dry white wine
  • 1/2 - juice of 1lemon
  • pinch - ground white pepper
  • dash - of salt

How To Make charbroiled oysters with lemon butter

  • Step 1
    Cook garlic and butter in small saucepan over low heat, 2-3 minutes. Whisk in the wine,lemon,salt,and pepper.remove from heat.Keep warm on side of grill.
  • Step 2
    24 fresh oysters in the shell
  • Step 3
    Discard any oysters that are not firmly closed. Scrub shells of remaining oysters.Place on barbque grill or charbroiler and cook until shells pop open.Remove top shell and spoon in hot Lemon Butter; serve immediately.
