Ingredients
- 2 pounds unpeeled, large raw shrimp
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 - sweet onion, diced
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil or 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh oregano or 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 - bay leaf
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper
- 1 clove garlic
How To Make cajun shrimp

Step 1Peel shrimp and devein.

Step 2Melt butter in a large skillet over medium high heat; add onion and next 5 ingredients, and saute for 5 minutes or until onions are tender. Stir in garlic and saute for about 1 more minute.

Step 3Stir in shrimp, and cook, stirring occasionally, about 6 minutes or just until shrimp turns pink, WATCH CAREFULLY!! Remove and discard bay leaf.
