- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated

Step 1Defrost frozen broccoli and place in a shallow, 9-inch, heat-resistant, non-metallic baking dish.

Step 2In a small, heat-resistant, non-metallic bowl, combine butter, mushrooms and onion.

Step 3Heat, uncovered, in microwave oven 3 minutes and stir occasionally.

Step 4Blend flour and seasonings into butter-mushroom mixture.

Step 5Heat, uncovered, in microwave oven 3 minutes, stirring after 1 1/2 minutes.

Step 6Gradually add milk, stirring until mixture is smooth.

Step 7Heat, uncovered, in microwave oven 3 minutes and stir every minute.

Step 8Pour hot mushroom sauce over cooked broccoli.

Step 9Sprinkle with 1 cup cheese and paprika.
