These make great appetizers before the main meal.

yield depending on size of clam shell used 6 to 12

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 2 tablespoons onions minced
  • 1 tablespoon parsley
  • 1/4 cup italian bread crumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano, dried
  • 1 cup minced clams[ canned]
  • 2/3 cup juice from clams -if you need more add some bottled clam juice
  • pinch garlic powder
  • 1 - lemon to squeeze on top of clams in shell

How To Make baked stuffed clams

  • Step 1
    Mix all ingredients together and place in clam shells.Put filled clam sheels on cookie sheet. Then sprinkle with grated cheese and a few drops of lemon juice on each clam. Then sprinkle with some paprika.
  • Step 2
    Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 25 mins.
