Ingredients

  • 2 - spring onions
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 tablespoons water chestnuts
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 2 dashes cayenne
  • 1 dash pepper
  • 1/2 pound raw shrimp shelled
  • 1 - egg white
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons sherry (optional)

How To Make baked shrimp toast

  • Step 1
    Pulse ingredients in food processor until mixed
  • Step 2
    Add egg and sherry
  • Step 3
    Pulse until egg white foams..about 5 seconds
  • Step 4
    Add shrimp and pulse until pasty.
  • Step 5
    Spread onto butter bread on both sides. Place onto a lightly greased pan. These will stick otherwise
  • Step 6
    Bake 375 degrees for 10 minutes. Serve hot
