Ingredients
- 36 - mussels
- 2 cups bread crumbs
- 4 tablespoons graded cheese
- 1/2 cup crushed tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- - salt and red pepper and black pepper to taste
How To Make baked mussels

Step 1Scrub mussels and pull off beads..( or use frozen cleaned mussels)

Step 2Prepare fry pan with tight lid. Add 3 to 4 tablespoons of olive oil 1/3 cup water, salt, pepper .Cover pan , let mussels steam till open . Remove mussels and cool. DO NOT USE UNOPENED MUSSELS

Step 3Remove mussels and place one on each 1/2shell discard other half of shell

Step 4Cover mussel with prepared stuffing and 1 Tbsp. of crushed tomatoes Sprinkle with chopped parsley .Drizzle with olive oil and remaining liquid from fry pan

Step 5Bake 400 degrees until golden brown about 12 to 15 min.
