These were my favorite nachos when I lived in SoCal. Now that I live in a small city in Northern MI I've had to adapt it for locally available ingredients. A touch of Baja California in Northern Michigan...perfect!

Ingredients

  • - tortilla chips
  • 1 can crab meat, well drained
  • 1 can small shrimp, well drained
  • 1-2 - green onions (scallions), sliced
  • 1 small can sliced black olives, or you can slice your on
  • 8 oz packages mexican blend shredded cheese
  • - chunky salsa
  • - sour cream

How To Make baja nachos

  • Step 1
    Pile tortilla chips on dinner-sized plate. Sprinkle with 1/2 the cheese. Top with crab, shrimp, sliced green onions and black olives. Sprinkle remaining cheese over all.
  • Step 2
    Microwave on high for 1.5-2 minutes; until cheese melts.
  • Step 3
    Serve with salsa and sour cream if desired.
