Ingredients
- 24 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 24 - water chestnuts, drained
- 12 slices bacon, cut in half
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 3 tablespoons horseradish
- - splash of hot pepper sauce
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
How To Make bacon wrapped shrimp with creamy horseradish

Step 1Wrap 1 shrimp around 1 water chestnut.

Step 2Wrap in 1 bacon piece and secure with toothpick.

Step 3Repeat with remaining shrimp, water chestnuts and bacon.

Step 4Melt 3 tablespoons butter in heavy large skillet over high heat.

Step 5Add half of shrimp and cook until bacon browns, about 2-1/2 minutes per side.

Step 6Transfer to large gratin dish.

Step 7Repeat with remaining butter and shrimp.

Step 8Preheat broiler.

Step 9Beat cream cheese in medium bowl until smooth.

Step 10Add remaining ingredients and beat until blended.

Step 11Season with salt.

Step 12Spoon sauce over shrimp.

Step 13Broil until top is golden brown.
