  • 16 shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 slices bacon, cut in half
  • oil, for frying
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Calabrian chili paste, more or less
  • fresh chives, for garnish

How To Make bacon wrapped shrimp with calabrian dipping sauce

  • Step 1
    Wrap each piece of shrimp in a half piece of bacon, and secure with toothpicks.
  • Step 2
    Deep fry in batches in 350 degree F oil for about 5 minutes until the bacon is crisp.
  • Step 3
    Mix the ketchup and Calabrian chili paste.
  • Step 4
    Serve the shrimp with the spicy sauce, garnished with chives.
