We love crab cakes. Add bacon to them? Wow! This recipe takes crab cakes to a whole new level. There's not much filler in these cakes. You really taste the sweet crab and smoky bacon. Easy to make, serve these as an appetizer or a light lunch alongside a salad.

Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons pancake mix
- 1 tablespoon prepared yellow mustard
- 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 large egg
- 1 tablespoon fresh chopped dill
- 1 pound cooked crab meat, flaked
- 1 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
- 3 cups vegetable oil, for frying
How To Make bacon crab cakes

Step 1Heat oil in a large skillet.

Step 2Mix together mix, mustard, mayo egg, and dill. Fold in crab and bacon.

Step 3Form 8 equal patties.

Step 4Oil should be hot - Make sure the oil covers halfway up the patty.

Step 5Fry patties over medium heat for about 9 minutes on the first side and 7 on the other side. I set mine on a paper towel to drain for a few moments before serving.
