I make this almost once every month. My children love it and so does all her friends from work. Whenever she has potluck, I make these for her friends. You cannot resist from eating it. Try it and enjoy. I am pretty sure you all will love it. The cumin and cilantro adds a lovely taste to it.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken wings
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice, fresh
  • 1 3/4 teaspoons salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cumin seeds, coarsely crushed
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, crushed
  • 2 tablespoons chilli garlic (kim lee)
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, crushed
  • 2 tablespoons corn starch
  • 1 tablespoon cilantro, fresh(paste)
  • 2 cups canola oil

How To Make zesty chicken wings

  • Step 1
    Make cuts in the chicken wings and dab dry.
  • Step 2
    Add Lemon juice,salt,sugar,garlic,ginger,cumin powder,cilantro paste and bag in Ziplock bag.
  • Step 3
    Refrigerate for 24hrs(best if refrigerated for 24 hrs) but lesser time is ok. The flavor has to incorporate into the flesh.
  • Step 4
    Drain any extra juice.
  • Step 5
    Coat with corn starch and deep fry in oil until golden brown.
  • Step 6
    When all are done frying. Coat with KIM LEE chilli garlic sauce and bake in 400 degrees preheated oven for 15 mins.
