These wings are delicious. A bit of heat and a bit of sweet. My husband talks me into making them every Sunday for the football games. Leftovers are yummy as well!

We liked that these wings were fried and baked. With some heat, but not too much, the sauce is really good. Great for your next tailgate or movie night!

Ingredients For wings worth the wait!

    meaty chicken wings and drummettes
  • 3/4 c
    Texas Pete's wing sauce (or your favorite)
  • 1 can
    chopped green chiles (4 oz)
  • 2 Tbsp
    honey
  • 2 Tbsp
    brown sugar
  • 5 dash
    tabasco

How To Make wings worth the wait!

    Dry wings thoroughly and salt and pepper them. Fry wings for 9 minutes in peanut oil. I use a Fry Daddy and fry in three batches. Drain on paper towels.

    In a large mixing bowl combine wing sauce, chiles, honey, brown sugar, and tabasco. Place all wings into the bowl and coat well.

    Let wings rest while pre-heating the oven to 350 degrees. Pour wings with sauce onto a sheet pan. Bake for 20 minutes.
