Ingredients
- 36 wing segments
- salt and pepper
- oil for deep frying
- SAUCE
- 3 cups apricot jam
- 1 cup dark brown sugar
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1 tablespoon liquid smoke
- 6 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon Calabrian chili paste
- 2 limes, zested
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
How To Make spicy sweet and sour chicken wings

Step 1Place the wings on a baking sheet and season with salt and pepper. Let sit at room temperature for 1 hours.

Step 2Meanwhile make the sauce. Add all ingredients for the sauce in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer and simmer for about 20 minutes until thickened.

Step 3Bring the oil to 350 degrees and deep fry in batches until the wings are golden brown.

Step 4Pour the sauce over the wings and enjoy.
