I HATED liver until I tried this recipe about 20 years ago. Try this at your next gathering

Ingredients
- 1 can whole water chestnuts
- 3/4 can chicken livers cut in half
- 1 pound bacon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
How To Make rumaki

Step 1Fold each piece of liver around a water chestnut

Step 2Wrap with half a slice of bacon and fasten with a wooden toothpick

Step 3Mix together the remaining ingredients in a medium sized bowl and marinate the chicken livers for 2 hours turning occasionally.

Step 4Place each chicken liver on a rack in a shallow pan 4 -5 inches from heat and broil for 5 to 7 minutes turning once.

Step 5Serve hot with chinese mustard
