Ingredients
- MARINADE
- 3 pounds chicken wings, flats only, cut each flat in half
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 2 cups maple syrup, more for drizzling
- 1 tablespoon chili crisp, use the oil for drizzling
- 2 tablespoons salt
- DREDGE
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- salt and pepper
- GARNISH
- 12 slices bacon, cooked until crisp
- 1 cup sugar
How To Make maple bacon chicken wings

Step 1Mix the buttermilk, maple syrup, chili crisp, and salt together. Add the wings and let them marinate in the fridge for 2 hours.

Step 2Place peanut oil in a deep fryer or large pot. Bring to 350 degrees. Mix the flour and salt. Once the oil is hot, remove the wings from the marinade.

Step 3Dredge in the flour and add to the hot oil. Cook in batches until browned and crispy. Place the cooked ones in a big bowl.

Step 4Crumble the bacon and mix with sugar.

Step 5Once all the wings are cooked, add the bacon sugar and mix well. Drizzle more maple syrup and chili oil over the wings and enjoy.
