laura's favorite deep fried chicken wings

This is for my daughter Laura who loves these chicken wings and wanted the recipe. This ones for you ~ with much love Mom :)

Ingredients

  • - 12 - 14 fresh chicken wings, split at the joint and tips removed
  • 2 - large eggs, beaten
  • 2/3 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon seasoned salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper, more if you like
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon pepper

How To Make laura's favorite deep fried chicken wings

  • Step 1
    Put beaten eggs in a bowl. In another bowl, combine flour with the next 5 spices. Dip wings first into the eggs, drip off excess, then coat with the flour mix.
  • Step 2
    Transfer to a rack and allow to sit at room temperature for 30 minutes. (This is important!)
  • Step 3
    Heat oil in deep fryer to 375 degrees. deep fry wings in batches until golden brown. About 8 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.
