·12 - 14 fresh chicken wings, split at the joint and tips removed
2large eggs, beaten
2/3 call purpose flour
1 Tbspseasoned salt
1/8 tspcayenne pepper, more if you like
2 tspgarlic powder
How to Make Laura's Favorite Deep Fried Chicken Wings
- Put beaten eggs in a bowl. In another bowl, combine flour with the next 5 spices. Dip wings first into the eggs, drip off excess, then coat with the flour mix.
- Transfer to a rack and allow to sit at room temperature for 30 minutes. (This is important!)
- Heat oil in deep fryer to 375 degrees. deep fry wings in batches until golden brown. About 8 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.
