chicken wings
1/2 c
flour
1/2 tsp
paprika
1/4 tsp
salt and pepper

eggs
2 c
grated parmesan cheese
1/2 c
dry bread crumbs
1 tsp
dried basil
1 tsp
dried oregano

How to Make Crunchy Parmesan Chicken Wings

Step-by-Step

  • 1Remove tips from chicken wings and reserve for stock if desired; separate wings at joints.
  • 2In shallow dish, combine flour, paprika, salt and pepper.
  • 3In another shallow dish, beat eggs.
  • 4In third shallow dish, combine cheese, bread crumbs, basil and oregano.
  • 5Dip wings into flour mixture, then into eggs, then into cheese mixture, pressing firmly.
  • 6(Wings can be prepared to this point, placed on rack, covered and refrigerated for up to 4 hours.)
  • 7Arrange wings on greased rimmed baking sheets.
  • 8Bake in 375 oven for 35-40 minutes, turning once, or until golden brown and crisp.
