Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground chicken breast
  • 1 large carrot, peeled and shredded
  • 1/2 cup shredded napa cabbage
  • 1/3 cup chopped green onion
  • 1 teaspoon ginger root, minced
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1 - egg white
  • 1 package wonton or gyoza wrappers
  • 4 tablespoons peanut oil
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 4 teaspoons soy sauce

How To Make chicken pot stickers

  • Step 1
Mix all ingredients except for wrappers, broth and soy sauce.
  • Step 2
Wet the edges of the wrapper. Spoon a teaspoon or so of chickent mixture. Fold the wrapper in half to or as desired. I have included a youtube video on different styles of wrapping wontons/dumplings in the comments below for your convenience. Repeat until all the wontons and/or filling is used.
  • Step 3
Pour 1 Tbsp. peanut oil into a 12-inch nonstick skillet. Heat over medium high heat.
  • Step 4
Cook 12 pot stickers at a time, 3 minutes or so on each side until lightly browned.
  • Step 5
Stir in 1/2 cup of the broth and 1 teaspoon of the soy sauce. Cover and cook 5 minutes.
  • Step 6
Repeat with remaining pot stickers, broth and soy sauce.
