These fritters remind me of hush puppies - only better! They're full of great flavor thanks to the green onion, bacon, and a bit of zip from the Caesar dressing. Great as an appetizer at a party or would be a hit at a tailgate. Yummy! The Test Kitchen

  • 2 6oz
    bags of Tyson grilled ready chicken, finely chopped
  • 1
    egg, beaten
  • 1/2 c
  • 1 Tbsp
    butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp
    Caesar salad dressing
  • 13/4 c
    all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 3
    green onion, finely chopped
  • 5 slice
    bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 c
    cheese and garlic croutons grounded into crumbs
  • 1/2 c
    shaved Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt and pepper

    oil for deep frying
  • ·
    McCormick sea salt grinder

How to Make Caesar Chicken Fritters


  1. Heat oil in fryer at 400.
  2. Place chicken in a medium bowl with the egg, butter, and milk; stir to combine.
  3. Combine the flour, baking powder, and soda in a small bowl.
  4. Stir the flour into the chicken mixture a little at a time until combined.
  5. Add the salad dressing, and stir.
  6. Next add the onion, bacon, croutons, cheese, salt, and pepper; fold it in with hands.
  7. Drop by teaspoon fulls into hot oil, or may be rolled into balls. Cook 3 minutes or until golded brown. Grind sea salt over hot fritters.
  8. Serve with additional caesar dressing for dipping.
