Notes from the Test Kitchen:
These fritters remind me of hush puppies - only better! They're full of great flavor thanks to the green onion, bacon, and a bit of zip from the Caesar dressing. Great as an appetizer at a party or would be a hit at a tailgate. Yummy!

2 6oz
bags of Tyson grilled ready chicken, finely chopped
egg, beaten
1/2 c
1 Tbsp
butter, melted
1 1/2 Tbsp
Caesar salad dressing
13/4 c
all-purpose flour
1 tsp
baking powder
1/2 tsp
baking soda
green onion, finely chopped
5 slice
bacon, cooked and crumbled
1/2 c
cheese and garlic croutons grounded into crumbs
1/2 c
shaved Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp
salt and pepper
oil for deep frying
McCormick sea salt grinder

1Heat oil in fryer at 400.
2Place chicken in a medium bowl with the egg, butter, and milk; stir to combine.
3Combine the flour, baking powder, and soda in a small bowl.
4Stir the flour into the chicken mixture a little at a time until combined.
5Add the salad dressing, and stir.
6Next add the onion, bacon, croutons, cheese, salt, and pepper; fold it in with hands.
7Drop by teaspoon fulls into hot oil, or may be rolled into balls. Cook 3 minutes or until golded brown. Grind sea salt over hot fritters.
8Serve with additional caesar dressing for dipping.
