Ingredients
- 3 pounds chicken wings
- salt and pepper
- oil, for deep frying
- BASIL PESTO
- 4 cups basil leaves
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1/2 cup pine nuts
- 3/4 cup Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- olive oil
- salt and pepper, to taste
How To Make basil pesto wings

Step 1Lay the wings on a baking sheet and season with salt and pepper. Let it sit at room temperature for 1 hour.

Step 2Meanwhile, make the pesto. Put all ingredients in a food processor except the oil, salt, and pepper.

Step 3Process, drizzling in the oil until the sauce comes together. Taste and season with salt and pepper. Place in a large bowl.

Step 4Heat oil to 350 degrees F. Deep fry the wings in batches for about 5 to 10 minutes, depending on how big the wings are.

Step 5Throw the wings in the bowl with the pesto and shake the pesto on the wings. Serve.
