This is a nice appetizer version of the famous Hot Brown sandwiches.

Ingredients For baby hot browns

  • 16 slice
    pumpernickel bread party slices
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter
  • 2 Tbsp
    all purpose flour
  • 1/2 c
    shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 1/2 c
    milk
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    ground red pepper
  • 2 lb
    turkey, cooked, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 c
    grated parmesan cheese
  • 6 slice
    bacon, cooked and crumbled

    Arrange bread slices on a lightly greased baking sheet. Bake at 500F for 3-4 minutes.
