ground turkey
3/4 c
cooked quinoa
3 clove
garlic, minced
green onions, sliced thin, more for later
1 large
1 Tbsp
soy sauce
2 tsp
sesame oil
1/2 tsp
siracha sauce
kosher salt and pepper to taste
sesame seeds for garnish


1/4 c
soy sauce
2 Tbsp
rice vinegar
1 Tbsp
freshly grated ginger
1 Tbsp
brown sugar, firmly packed
1 tsp
sesame oil
1/2 tsp
siracha sauce
2 tsp
corn starch
2 Tbsp
chilli sauce

How to Make Asian Quinoa Meatballs


  • 1Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Lightly oil a 9x13 dish with nonstick spray.
  • 2In a large bowl, combine turkey, quinoa, garlic, onions, egg, soy sauce, sesame oil, Siracha, salt and pepper, to taste. Using a wooden spoon, stir well until combined. Roll mixture into 1 to 1 1/2 inch meatballs forming 18-36 meatballs.
  • 3Place meatballs in prepared dish and bake for 18-20 minutes, or until all sides are browned and meatballs are cooked through
  • 4To make the sauce, whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, ginger, sugar, sesame oil, Siracha, chili sauce and 1/2 cup water in a small saucepan over medium high heat.
  • 5In a small bowl, whisk together cornstarch and 1 tablespoon water. Stir into soy sauce mixture until thickened, about 2 minutes.
  • 6Serve meatballs immediately with sauce, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.
