Ingredients

  • 12 chicken legs
  • 12 slices bacon
  • 1 1/4 cups sweet chili sauce
  • MANGO PINEAPPLE SALSA
  • 1/3 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1/2 cup mango, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup pineapple, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • fresh lime juice from 1 lime
  • 1 teaspoon cilantro, chopped

How To Make asian bacon chicken legs

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 425 F
  • Step 2
    Rinse and pat dry chicken legs.
  • Step 3
    Wrap 1 slice bacon around each chicken leg.
  • Step 4
    Place bacon wrapped legs on baking dish.
  • Step 5
    Brush each chicken leg liberally with sweet chili sauce.
  • Step 6
    Bake for 15 minutes. Remove from oven and brush legs with chili sauce again.
  • Step 7
    Bake for ;another 10 minutes.
  • Step 8
    If legs aren't crispy enough, put under broiler for 5 minutes.
  • Step 9
    In bowl, mix pineapple, mango, red onion, cilantro, lime juice and 1/3 cup sweet chili sauce. Serve with cooked chicken legs.
