Adobo is a Filipino method of flavoring using vinegar and garlic. Really yummy.

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 - bay leaf
  • 6 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 - thai chili pepper thinly sliced and seeded
  • 1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 12 - chicken wings
  • - black sesame seeds and cilantro for garnish

How To Make adobo chicken wings

  • Step 1
    Place the butter and bay leaf in a small saucepan. After the butter has melted and is foamy add the garlic and chili peppers. Brown about 1 minute.
  • Step 2
    Pour in the vinegar and soy sauce. Stir well scraping up bits on bottom of pan. Stir in the brown sugar. Remove bay leaf and discard. Bring to a boil and reduce to a simmer and let simmer 7 to 10 minutes until glaze like and thick. Remove from heat and set aside.
  • Step 3
    Deep fry the chicken wings at 350 degree about 5 minutes. Pour the glaze over top and serve
