Great with fresh bread. Flavor gets stronger the longer it's in the fridge.Tzatziki is also great in soublaki or simply on the side of the plate when you have beefburger and home fries!!!

Ingredients

  • 500 grams greek yogurt
  • 1 large cucumber, grated (with skin)
  • 4-5 cloves garlic, peeled and grated (or crushed)
  • small bunch fresh dill , finely chopped(dried is ok too)
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1/2 tablespoon olive oil

How To Make greek tzatziki (yogurt/garlic dip)

  • Step 1
    Wash the cucumber and finely grate. Do not remove skin. Grate it straight into a strainer, you need to remove as much water as possible.
  • Step 2
    add yogurt, vinegar, garlic, oil, dill and mix well
  • Step 3
    Chill in fridge, for at least an hour.
