    8 thick slices meaty bacon
  • ·
    3 cups salted roasted peanuts
  • ·
    4 candied pineapple rings, cut into 1/3 inch triangles
  • ·
    2 t. sesame seeds
  • ·
    1 t. low sodium soy sauce
  • ·
    1 t. honey
  • ·
    1/4 t. cayenne pepper
  • ·
    kosher salt

How to Make Tiki Snack Mix


  1. Preheat oven to 350. Arrange bacon slice in single layer on rack set over a large rimmed baking sheet. Bake for about 0 minutes until bacon is crisp. Drain bacon on paper towels and cut into 1/2 inch strips. In a bowl, toss bacon with peanuts, pineapple, sesame seeds, soy sauce, honey, and cayenne. Spread on a rimmed baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes, stirring once until bacon is browned. Season mix with salt and stir occasionally until cool, then serve. Makes 4 1/2 cups
