Drain pickles and discard juice. Cut into 1 inch chunks. Put pickles in a large jar.

Day 1: Add 1 1/4 cup sugar and red hots, pour over pickles, Stir and let sit on counter.

Day 2: Add 1/2 cup of remaining sugar, stir twice a day, cover and let sit on counter.

Day 3: Add remaining sugar and tabasco, stir then let sit on counter.

Day 4: At this point remove from large jar and put into clean smaller jars.
Keep in refrigerator. ENJOY!
