My mom gave me this recipe when I first got Married. I always think of her when I make it.

Ingredients

  • 3 - medium size ripe avacados
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 package taco seasoning mix
  • 2 cans plain or jalapeno flavored bean dip
  • 1 - large bunch of green onions chopped
  • 3 - med. size tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 cans black olives
  • 1 package 8 oz. sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

How To Make tex mex dip

  • Step 1
    Make the guacamole. Chop avacados. Add lemon juice, salt and pepper.Spread that on the bottom of a pie plate.
  • Step 2
    2nd layer. Mix sour cream, taco seasoning and bean dip. Spread that over the avacado layer.
  • Step 3
    Sprinkle chopped green onions, tomatoes, olives and cheese. Serve with tortilla chips.
