These tasty little tuna balls make great appetizers! They are quick and easy to prepare, and economical, too.They are also good to snack on while watching television in the evening. And you don't have to feel guilty, because they're only about 16 calories each.

Ingredients

  • 1 can tuna (7 oz.) drained & flaked
  • 1 package cream cheese (3 oz.) softened
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped celery
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt, or to taste
  • 1/3 cup parsley, finely chopped

How To Make tasty tuna balls - appetizer or low-cal snack

  • Step 1
    Blend together the tuna (canned chicken can be substituted for the tuna) and cream cheese. Add the celery, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce and salt. Blend thoroughly.
  • Step 2
    Roll mixture into small balls, then roll balls in chopped parsley to coat.
  • Step 3
    *For appetizers, serve with cocktail picks. Makes about 30, 16 calories each.
