Many years ago, someone in the family collected recipes from descendants of my great grandparents, William M. and Florence E. (Snodgrass) Whaley and had them compiled into a cookbook. I am posting those recipes here so that they will not be lost. This recipe was submitted by Jerry Palmer.

Ingredients
- 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
- 1 1/4 ounces taco seasoning mix
- 16 ounces sour cream
- 1/4 - head of lettuce
- 1 - tomato, chopped
- 1 package shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 package tortilla chips
How To Make taco dip

Step 1Mix cream cheese, taco seasoning and sour cream until smooth.

Step 2Spread mixture on pizza pan and chill.

Step 3Add tomato, shredded cheddar cheese and lettuce. Use chips to dip.
