1/3 c
ground italian sausage
8 oz
package cream cheese, softened
3/4 Tbsp
garlic salt
3 Tbsp
grated romano cheese
1 tsp
dried oregano
1 tsp
dried basil
1/3 c
italian-style dry bread crumbs
1 Tbsp
olive oil
hungarian hot peppers, cored and seeded

How to Make Stuffed Hot Peppers


  • 1Place sausage in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. Drain, crumble and set aside.
  • 2Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • 3In a medium bowl, mix together sausage, cream cheese, garlic salt, Romano cheese, oregano, basil, bread crumbs and olive oil.
  • 4Stuff the peppers with the sausage mixture. Place on a baking sheet and bake in preheated oven 20 to 25 minutes, until the stuffing is lightly brown and bubbly.
