This is an easy dip to serve when having friends over. It's very simple to put together, the hardest thing is waiting for the spinach to thaw. But here's a "hack." Put the frozen spinach in a colander and run tap water over it to thaw quickly.

  • 8 oz
    sour cream
  • 1 c
  • 1/2 tsp
    celery salt
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 1/2 c
    green onions
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 1 c
    frozen spinach (thawed)
  • 8 oz
    water chestnuts
  • 3 Tbsp
    bell pepper (chopped)

How to Make Spinach Dip


  1. Thaw and drain chopped spinach, squeeze all excess moisture with a tea towel or cheese cloth.
  2. Combine sour cream, mayo and seasonings. Stir in onions, spinach water chestnuts and pepper. Cover and refrigerate.
  3. Serve with veggies, crackers or bread.
