This is an easy dip to serve when having friends over. It's very simple to put together, the hardest thing is waiting for the spinach to thaw. But here's a "hack." Put the frozen spinach in a colander and run tap water over it to thaw quickly.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces sour cream
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon dill
  • 1/2 cup green onions
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup frozen spinach (thawed)
  • 8 ounces water chestnuts
  • 3 tablespoons bell pepper (chopped)

How To Make spinach dip

  • Step 1
    Thaw and drain chopped spinach, squeeze all excess moisture with a tea towel or cheese cloth.
  • Step 2
    Combine sour cream, mayo and seasonings. Stir in onions, spinach water chestnuts and pepper. Cover and refrigerate.
  • Step 3
    Serve with veggies, crackers or bread.
