Ingredients

  • 8 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon sweet paprika
  • 1/2 cup creme fraiche
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves plus more for garnish
  • juice of 1/2 lime
  • 2 slices salami cut into triangles

How To Make spicy salami deviled eggs w creme fraiche & thyme

  • Step 1
    Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add the eggs and boil for about 8 minutes. Remove the eggs to a ice bath and let cool. Peel the eggs cutting them in half. Pop the yolk out into a bowl.
  • Step 2
    Smash the egg yolks with a fork. Add the chili powder, paprika, creme fraiche, thyme leaves and lime juice. Mix well. Add the yolk back into the halves of the eggs.
  • Step 3
    In a small pan fry the salami until crisp. Remove and let cool then add one triangle to the top of each eggs. Add a thyme leaf next to the salami. Serve
