southwest dip cups

These are so good, and very easy to make. People rave whenever I take them! Putting them into foil cups is great for individual dips, but you could also layer into a baking dish... I made them for Thanksgiving at my in laws house, and they went before anything else! I did them in heavy foil baking/muffin cups, in a plastic container for transporting.

Ingredients For southwest dip cups

  • 24
    foil baking cups
  • any type salsa you like, spicy or sweet
  • 3
    avocados, ripe, pitted and chopped
  • 1 1/2 c
    cheddar, shredded
  • 1 1/2 c
    sour cream
  • 1/2 c
    chopped fresh cilantro, optional
  • tortilla chips, i prefer the bite size

How To Make southwest dip cups

  • 1
    In each cup, layer: 1 T beans, salsa, avocado and cheese, sour cream and 1 t cilantro. (Layer in that order). It's easier to layer them if you put them on the serving plate first.
