My friend works for a Mexican resturant and gave me the basic ingredients. After several batches I finally came upon this on and it is perfect!!

Ingredients For resturant style salsa

  • 1- 28 oz. can
    red gold whole peeled tomatoes
  • 1- 10 oz. can
    rotel diced tomatoes & green chilies
  • 1 md
    onion
  • 1
    jalapeno (seeded and deveined)
  • 1/2-1 c
    cilantro
  • 2 tsp
    garlic
  • 2 tsp
    cumin
  • 2 tsp
    salt
  • 2 tsp
    sugar

How To Make resturant style salsa

  • 1
    In a food processor or blender put the onion (quarter it first), jalapeno (slice it in half and cut each half into about three pieces), cilantro w/ or w/o stems, garlic, cumin, salt, sugar, and both cans or tomatoes in this order and chop or blend for about 3 to 4 seconds or to the desired consistency. Serve with any yellow corn made chip.
