This jelly makes a beautiful holiday gift if made with red and green bell peppers. Place in a gift basket with a block of cream cheese, a box of crackers and a nice serving dish. To serve, place block of cheese on dish and top with jelly. Spread on crackers.

- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 cup minced peppers (mixed bell pepper and hot pepper if desired)
- 3/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 - 3 ounce package liquid pectin
How To Make pepper jelly

Step 1Combine the sugar, minced peppers and vinegar in a deep 2 1/2 to 3 quart microwave safe bowl.

Step 2Microwave on HIGH for 8 minutes.

Step 3Stir in the pectin and microwave on HIGH for 2-2 1/2 minutes. Skim off foam.

Step 4Pour into sterilized jelly jars or freezer containers. Cover with lids.

Step 5Invert for 1 to 2 hours to disperse peppers.

Step 6Refrigerate up to 3 weeks or freeze up to 1 year.
