Ingredients
- 5 ounces old english cheese
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup plain flour
- 2 tablespoons water
- 4 ounces hot pepper jelly
How To Make pepper jelly turnovers

Step 1Cut cheese and butter into flour.

Step 2Quickly stir in water and shape into a ball. Refrigerate overnight.

Step 3Roll out dough very thin and cut with a biscuit cutter into 2-inch circles.

Step 4Place 1/2 teaspoon of pepper jelly in center of each circle. Fold over and crimp edges with a fork.

Step 5Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes.

Step 6Turnovers may be frozen before or after baking. Makes 2 to 3 dozen.
