Ingredients For mushroom canape appetizers

1 smcan mushrooms, chopped

3/4 cfrench's fried onions, crushed

3/4 cmayonnaise

3/4 cparmesan cheese, shredded

1loaf of pumpernickel bread
How To Make mushroom canape appetizers

1Lightly toast both sides of bread. Then cut bread into "appetizer" size pieces. You can use cookie cutters to make different shapes if you'd like.

2Mix all other ingredients together, reserving about 1/4 cup of parmesan cheese.

3Place a spoonful of mixture on top of toasted bread, sprinkle more cheese, and broil until bubbly. Serve and enjoy!
