Ingredients

1 small
can mushrooms, chopped
3/4 c
french's fried onions, crushed
3/4 c
mayonnaise
3/4 c
parmesan cheese, shredded
1
loaf of pumpernickel bread

How to Make Mushroom Canape Appetizers

Step-by-Step

  • 1Lightly toast both sides of bread. Then cut bread into "appetizer" size pieces. You can use cookie cutters to make different shapes if you'd like.
  • 2Mix all other ingredients together, reserving about 1/4 cup of parmesan cheese.
  • 3Place a spoonful of mixture on top of toasted bread, sprinkle more cheese, and broil until bubbly.
    Serve and enjoy!
