mexican shrimp cocktail
I love shrimp cocktail, but when I had this in a Mexican restaurant one day I went over the moon for it, thus started my quest for how to make it. Finally I came up with this recipe. I like making my own salsa but using store bought works just as well, and its somewhat faster.

Ingredients
- 1 pound cooked shrimp
- 16 ounces salsa, mild
- 1/2 cup chopped cucumber
- 1/2 cup chopped celery
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup cilantro, fresh chopped
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic minced
- 1 large avacado
- 1 can tomatoe juice
- 2 dashes hot sauce
How To Make mexican shrimp cocktail

Step 1Make sure shrimp is peeled and deveined. place in frig, till ready to use.

Step 2In a large bowl, mix together all ingredients, saving shrimp and avocado for last. Mix together.

Step 3stir in shrimp whole or chopped saving some for garnish.

Step 4add in avocado.

Step 5Cover and chill.
