After she passed away when I was 7, I inherited mom's recipe book, a collection of ingredients without directions or title to the recipe in a lot of cases. Mom was known to come up with an idea and jot it down on scraps of paper or napkins in restaurants! Here's another version of a veggie dip she made.

- 1 cup mayo
- 1/2 cup chili sauce
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
- 2 - drops lime juice
- 1 tablespoon horseradish

Step 1Combine and let stand 24 hours before serving. (in the fridge should have been part of the directions).
