layered taco dip
I make this for practically every party I'm invited to. It's the best version of a layered taco dip I've tasted. I've been making this for several years and finally have gotten the recipe exactly where I want it.

- 1 can diced tomatoes with chilies or jalapenos, drained well
- 3-4 medium avocados
- 16 ounces sour cream
- 1 package taco seasoning mix

- 1 can black olives, sliced
- - juice from 4 limes
- - tortilla chips
How To Make layered taco dip
-
Step 1Cook the sausage thoroughly; break up into small pieces while it’s cooking. Sausage should be in small crumbles when finished cooking.
-
Step 2In a bowl mix the Taco Seasoning packet with the Sour Cream; blend well. In another bowl, mash the avocados and mix with the Lime Juice. Drain the can of black beans and tomatoes, separately. I use two strainers and let sit over the sink while the sausage is cooking.

Step 3Place ingredients in this order: Cooked sausage Black beans Avocado mixture Sour Cream mixture Lettuce Tomato Cheese Olives
