Ingredients

  • 1 15 oz cans refried beans
  • 3 - avocados- ripe
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 8 oz packages sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 1/4 ounces package taco seasoning mix
  • 2 - tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 bunch green onions
  • 1 8 oz ounces cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 4 1/4 oz cans black olives, chopped

How To Make layered taco dip

  • Step 1
    Spread re-fried beans on the bottom of a 9 x 13" dish and set aside.
  • Step 2
    Mash avocados and mix with lemon juice,salt, pepper, garlic powder. (Could use a 16 oz. avocado dip instead of avocado mixture.)
  • Step 3
    In another bowl, Combine sour cream, mayonnaise, and taco seasoning.
  • Step 4
    Spread avocado mixture over re-fried beans.
  • Step 5
    Sprinkle with tomatoes, onions, cheese, and olives making each a separate layer. You should have 7 layers when completed.
  • Step 6
    Serve cold with tortilla chips.
  • Step 7
    Optional: May add picante sauce or jalapeno peppers to the top.
