refried beans
avocados- ripe
2 Tbsp
lemon juice
1/4 tsp
1/4 tsp
1/4 tsp
garlic powder
1 8 oz pkg
sour cream
2 Tbsp
1 1/4 oz
package taco seasoning mix
tomatoes, chopped
1 bunch
green onions
1 8 oz oz
cheddar cheese, shredded
1 4 1/4 oz can(s)
black olives, chopped

How to Make Layered Taco Dip


  • 1Spread re-fried beans on the bottom of a 9 x 13" dish and set aside.
  • 2Mash avocados and mix with lemon juice,salt, pepper, garlic powder. (Could use a 16 oz. avocado dip instead of avocado mixture.)
  • 3In another bowl, Combine sour cream, mayonnaise, and taco seasoning.
  • 4Spread avocado mixture over re-fried beans.
  • 5Sprinkle with tomatoes, onions, cheese, and olives making each a separate layer. You should have 7 layers when completed.
  • 6Serve cold with tortilla chips.
  • 7Optional: May add picante sauce or jalapeno peppers to the top.
