This kesari is very delicious and melt in the mouth. And it is very yummy and this is very famous in marriage function i like this very much.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rava or sooji
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 cups water
  • 1/2 cup ghee and cooking oil
  • 2 tablespoons cashew nuts and raisins
  • 1 pinch saffron or food color

How To Make kesari

  • Step 1
    At first you have to boil the 3 cups of water in a sauce pan.
  • Step 2
    Next add the ghee and cooking oil mixture into a pan.
  • Step 3
    After the mixture turns hot add cashew nuts and raisins. Rost it for few minutes.
  • Step 4
    then add the rava or sooji into the pan and roast it. till it turns light brown color.
  • Step 5
    then add the boiled water to rava mixture.
  • Step 6
    After the rava gets cooked, add the sugar then the mixture get little runny stage.
  • Step 7
    after the sugar gets thicken to the rava mixture, then cook the mixture for few minutes the mixture comes to slightly thick stage.
  • Step 8
    the turn of the stove and transfer the KESARI to a bowl and garnish with cashews and raisins.
  • Step 9
    Now the delicious kesari ready to serve.
