This kesari is very delicious and melt in the mouth.
And it is very yummy and this is very famous in marriage function i like this very much.

  • 1 c
    rava or sooji
  • 1 c
  • 3 c
  • 1/2 c
    ghee and cooking oil
  • 2 Tbsp
    cashew nuts and raisins
  • 1 pinch
    saffron or food color

How to Make KESARI


  1. At first you have to boil the 3 cups of water in a sauce pan.
  2. Next add the ghee and cooking oil mixture into a pan.
  3. After the mixture turns hot add cashew nuts and raisins. Rost it for few minutes.
  4. then add the rava or sooji into the pan and roast it. till it turns light brown color.
  5. then add the boiled water to rava mixture.
  6. After the rava gets cooked, add the sugar then the mixture get little runny stage.
  7. after the sugar gets thicken to the rava mixture, then cook the mixture for few minutes the mixture comes to slightly thick stage.
  8. the turn of the stove and transfer the KESARI to a bowl and garnish with cashews and raisins.
  9. Now the delicious kesari ready to serve.
