Thanks to a friend, this became an icon in the 70's! I have taken this to many a gathering both formal and informal. Everyone loves it. Thanks to the Jones family!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup jalapeno peppers
  • 3 cups shredded cheese
  • 6 - eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream or milk

How To Make jalapeno pepper quiche

  • Step 1
Spray a glass pie plate or a glass 9X9 cake pan with olive oil. Fine chop Jalapeno Peppers - spread evenly into bottom of baking vessel. Cover with Cheese (cheddar, a fiesta mix or your personal favorite). Whip the eggs along with the cream or milk - pour mixture over the cheese/jalapeno ingredients. Bake at 250 degrees for approximately 1 hr. 10-15 minutes. The quiche should be firm but not crispy brown. Let cool for 10 minutes - then cut into 1 inch squares. Place a container of toothpicks handy so guests can "skewer" this appetizer. It is the hit of the party!!!!
