This was an appetizer served at a Christmas party at my daughter's former restaurant. I had misplaced the recipe and in going through several boxes, I found it. Very tasty!

Ingredients

12 slices bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
8 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 cup mayonnaise
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 - garlic clove, minced
- 1 round loaf sourdough bread

How To Make hot bacon cheese spread - steph

Step 1

Mix all ingredients except the bread. Set aside. Cut the top off the bread round and hollow out to make a bowl. Tear the hollowed out bread into chunks to use for dipping. Do not bake them. Put bacon mixture in the hollowed out bowl. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour. ENJOY!
