Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 2 1/2 ounces dried beef, shredded
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 cup green pepper, finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 - green onions and tops, chopped fine
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 2 tablespoons butter

How To Make gala pecan spread 2, mom's

  • Step 1
    Combine cheese and milk, mix well. Stir in beef, pepper, onion, and seasonings. Mix well and fold in sour cream. Spread in 8" pie plate. Heat pecans in butter, 2 T or so, and 1/2 t salt. Sprinkle over cheese. Bake at 350 degrees 20 min. Serve with crackers, sliced white bread, trimmed of crust and quartered, toasted crisp would also be good with this.
