I got some taste of home from a niece that has some really good sounding recipes in them well here's one. enjoy.

6 - hard boiled eggs
1 teaspoon finely chopped onion
3 - bacon strips,cooked and crumbled
1/2 teaspoon salt,optional
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon prepared mustard
1/4 cup mayonaise
1 cup (4 oz.)shredded cheddar cheese

How To Make favorate deviled eggs

Step 1

In large bowl,combine the first seven ingredients until well blended.Shape into 1-inch balls.Roll in cheese.Cover and refrigerate. I like to keep a supply of cooked bacon in the freezer so I have some on hand whenever I want to add a bit to a recipe.I cut the bacon into small pieces before cooking so they cook faster.That way I always have bacon on hand when I want it. The same goes for onion or bell pepper.Cut them up into small pieces and freeze them flat,so you can break them apart to put them in bags.
